Burning Tree Projekt - Freshly squeezed from Orange County, Burning Tree Projekt is an eclectic hard hitting rock band and is comprised of five gifted musicians with diverse influences in music. Their stage presence has built them a reputation as one of the most entertaining bands in Orange County. Flying through the air is nothing new to Rock and Roll but doing it with joy and a positive attitude is. The Burning Tree Projekt is committed to having fun and keeping the crowd singing along. Their sound is a hard edged experimental indie rock mix of musical genre's such as screamo, emo, electronica, drum and bass, and indie. Their poetic lyrics are relatable and often times deeper than they appear on the surface. BTP has become their own sound and their own genre.
Singers- Allen, Nilsa, Maryjane Why this name? Somebody just ended up giving me that name a while back. The band's new name is Monroe St. That is where we first met and where we still rehearse today. Your influences? Soul, R&B, funk rockers such as Jill Scott and her band, Erykah Badu, D'angelo, Chaka Khan, Earth Wind and Fire...etc... Favorite spot? The city of Angels...
