| BEST OF FEST winners 9:40am Six short films selected by our festival jury were announced at last night's star-studded gala awards dinner. Congratulations to the winning filmmakers: Samuel Kiehoon Lee, Gene Celso, Tak-Hoon Kim, Kevin Lee, Kimi Takesue and Joe Turner Lin. | Michelob Light Short Flicks 12:45pm  For the second year in a row, the San Diego Asian Film Festival is excited to present the Michelob Light Short Flicks Competition. With the support of Anheuser-Busch, SDAFF commissioned four filmmakers to create 30-second short films promoting the film festival. The winner is chosen by a festival audience and receives $1,000. | Serra High Senior Kent Ngo wins film review competition 8:00am  Kent Ngo, a senior at Junipero Serra High School and editor of the school newspaper, won this year's San Diego Asian Film Festival high school film review competition.
